The vineyard's location is on Fromberg, a 215-metre-high hill in the heart of the South Limburg Hill Country. Standing in the vineyard, overlooking the rolling Limburg landscape, you would almost think you were abroad. Wine estate Fromberg is unique of its kind because it has the only Dutch vineyard with a slope facing entirely south. There is no better location.
The soil of the vineyard consists of mineral-rich limestone, also known as marl. The hard subsoil means the grapevine's roots have to work hard to absorb the minerals it contains. This, in turn, makes for strong vines with grapes that produce distinct wines.
Our hotel is located in the heart of South Limburg. You can reach all corners of this beautiful region in no time.
